I went to Gettysburg and thought it was cool. The that surprised me the most about the battlefield is the distance the soldiers travled just to get to one side. A cannon can shoot over three miles, but they were not deadly at that distance. They are more deadly up front. I saw old buildings with bullet holes in them. You could see a plaque on every civil war battle.

What i know about Gettysberg, nad what I have hurd from the eigth graders it does sound very cool.
