battlefields were smaller than I thought. The other thing is that I
didn't think so many buildings would be so close to the battlefields.
Right now it's 10 pm and the group is talking about the battles and
important people in the Civil War. I can't wait to get to D.C.

It sounds like the trip has been exciting so far. The first and third day battlefields would seem the biggest! That's so weird that they were that small.
